Curso de Lectoescritura

El proyecto nació en la necesidad de ayudar a los niños(as) que les está costando mucho el aprender a leer y a escribir, ya que notamos que en primero y segundo grado de la escuela es donde se les dificulta más, estamos hablando de niños entre 6, 7 y 8 años, en nuestro país es obligatorio aprender a leer en primer año de escuela porque si no tienen que repetir el año.
En años anteriores aplicábamos el libro de pinocho, pero era muy aburrido y repetitivo y solo consistía en leer, ahora imparto un curso semanal de lunes a jueves con horario rotativo por semana acoplándome al horario de los chicos de la escuela más cercana que es la Alberto Manuel Brenes Mora, de donde son la mayoría de los estudiantes que atendemos en la misión, entonces cuando ellos van en la mañana el curso es en la tarde y viceversa.
El horario es de lunes a jueves en la mañana de 930 a 10: 00 am y en las tardes de 2:00 a 2:30 pm, el grupo es de 31 estudiantes de los cuales 17 son niñas y 14 niños. Se les enseñan trazos, colorear, identificar sílabas, vocales, letras, se realizan diferentes actividades como: asocies, escritura, lectura, recortar, pintar, identificar sílabas, sopas de letras, bingo, etc.
Se hace planeamiento semanal y se comenzó con una vocal por semana, luego todas las vocales juntas, luego continuamos con una familia de silabas por semana, por ejemplo una semana Ma-me-mi-mo-mu, otra semana Pa-pe-pi-po-pu y así sucesivamente hasta llegar a estudiar todas las sílabas.
Todos estos nuevos programas que vamos actualizando en este lugar es por beneficio de la comunidad y para darles la mejor atención a los estudiantes y tratamos de ayudarlos en lo que realmente necesitan para salir adelante en sus estudios.
Literacy Course
The project was born out of the need to help children who are struggling to read and write. We noticed that they struggle the most in first and second grade—children between 6, 7, and 8 years old. In our country, learning to read is mandatory in the first year of school, otherwise they have to repeat the year.
In previous years, we supported these students using the Pinocchio book, but it was very repetitive and only consisted of reading. Now, I teach a weekly course adapting to the schedule of the children at the nearest school, Alberto Manuel Brenes Mora, where most of the students we serve in the mission are from.
The schedule is Monday through Thursday in the mornings from 9:30 to 10:00 am and in the afternoons from 2:00 to 2:30 pm. The group consists of 31 students: 17 girls and 14 boys. They are taught literacy through tracing, coloring, identifying vowels and letters, and participate in various activities such as matching, writing, reading, cutting, painting, word searches, bingo, etc.
We focus on one vowel per week, then all the vowels together, then continuing with one letter family per week. For example, one week, Ma-me-mi-mo-moo, another week, Pa-pe-pi-po-pu, and so on until all the consonants are studied.
All of these new programs we are updating here are for the benefit of the community and to provide the best possible service to the students. We try to help them with what they really need to succeed in their studies.
