The Journey Begins in Preschool

By Johan Sirias Cordoba

In 2026, our Preschool Program is taking a brave step forward by introducing integrated English language lessons into our Preschool Programs. We believe that English is far more than just a school subject; it is a vital tool that opens doors to higher education, cultural exchange, and expanded career opportunities.

We have already witnessed this transformation firsthand through our current students and graduates of our accessible, low-cost English programs for adults and adolescents. Now, it is time to give our youngest learners that same advantage.

As part of the Bajo Tejares community, we see the daily challenges our families go through. Our mission is to ensure that economic status never acts as a barrier to a child’s potential. By providing these bilingual lessons at no cost, we are leveling the playing field for the next generation.

At Faithful Servant Missions, we aren't just teaching the ABCs; we are cultivating the future leaders of this community. We know that the English program achieves its deepest impact when interlaced into the other curricula we offer.

We envision this as the start of a unified, long-term journey of growth. By combining this early start with an elementary English course and our school support programs, and eventually transitioning students into our evening English courses for adolescents and adults, we are creating a pathway for them to thrive.

We look forward to this being a long and fruitful process—a continuous cycle of learning where our students grow from curious toddlers into bilingual empowered future adults! Together, through these combined programs, we are building opportunities that will strengthen Bajo Tejares.
