...whom shall I fear?

Psalm 27:1 says, “The Lord is my light and my salvation–whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life–of whom shall I be afraid?”
If God is with us, whom shall we fear? If He is the King of kings and Lord of lords, there is no one more powerful, no one more worthy of our trust. In fact, Jesus is the only one truly capable of being trusted blindly, for He is the way, the truth, and the life.
In the times when we feel alone, sad, or unsure of what to do, we can draw closer to Him, for He is our strength, our firm rock. He is the creator of all things and everything is in his hands. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
My advice is this: let's seek the Lord more each day. We must get used to seeking Him, work to have a daily relationship with Him, for the Word says that all things work together for the good of those who love God. We must nourish our spiritual lives daily by praying–talking to God–reading the Bible, and fasting. This strengthens the spirit, and thus gives us the fighting chance to deal with problems and temptations. One cannot do it alone. With one's own strength, it is impossible. We must surrender to Jesus Christ and rely on Him.
Jesus is our refuge; He is the solution to all our problems.
He is the friend who will not fail us or criticize us.
If the word says, "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty, "then what should we fear? If it says, "He who watches over you will not slumber,” then we know God can be trusted.

Is there something stealing your peace today that you need to give to God, trusting that He is your refuge and your strength?

Heavenly Father, thank you for being my light, my salvation, and my refuge. Today I want to trust in you as my firm rock, even in the midst of loneliness, sadness, or uncertainty. Help me to draw closer to you each day, to pray, to read your word, and to surrender myself completely to Jesus Christ. Remind me that if you are with me, I have nothing to fear.

Salmo 27:1, “El Señor es mi luz y mi salvación: ¿a quién temeré? El Señor es el refugio de mi vida: ¿de quién he de tener miedo?”
Debemos confiar ciegamente en Jesús, ya que él es el camino, la verdad y la vida para nosotros. Muchas veces nos sentimos solos, tristes, no sabemos qué hacer, y lo que deberíamos hacer es acercarnos más a él, ya que debe ser nuestra fortaleza, nuestra roca firme. Él es el creador de todas las cosas, todo está en sus manos, y él tiene mejores pensamientos que nosotros. Debemos acostumbrarnos a buscarlo, a tener una relación diaria con él, ya que la palabra dice que a los que aman a Dios todas las cosas les ayudan para bien. Y si él está con nosotros, ¿de quién temeremos? Si es el Rey de reyes y Señor de señores, no hay nadie más poderoso que él.
Tenemos que hacer de nuestra vida cotidiana una vida espiritual y alimentarla orando, que es hablar con Dios; leyendo la Biblia; ayunando. Esto fortalece el espíritu, y así es más sencillo lidiar con los problemas y las tentaciones, porque uno solo, con sus propias fuerzas, no puede; es imposible. Tenemos que rendirnos a Jesucristo para que nuestra vida mejore y nuestros caminos sean los correctos.
Jesús es nuestro refugio, debe ser nuestra primera solución a todos nuestros problemas. Es el amigo que no nos va a fallar ni a criticar, y estoy seguro de que es él quien tiene todas las soluciones a nuestros problemas.
¿De qué tendremos miedo, si la palabra dice: "El que habita al abrigo del Altísimo morará bajo la sombra del Omnipotente"? También dice: "No se dormirá el que te guarda."
Mi consejo es: busquemos más al Señor todos los días.

¿Hay algo que hoy te esté robando la paz y que necesites entregarle a Dios, confiando en que él es tu refugio y tu fortaleza?

Padre celestial, gracias porque tú eres mi luz, mi salvación y mi refugio. Hoy quiero confiar en ti como mi roca firme, aun en medio de la soledad, la tristeza o la incertidumbre. Ayúdame a acercarme más a ti cada día, a orar, a leer tu palabra y a rendirme por completo a Jesucristo. Recuérdame que si tú estás conmigo, no tengo por qué temer.
