Sponsor a child in Costa Rica

Your willingness to sponsor a child in Bajo Tejares provides an opportunity to break the cycle of poverty--one child at a time. Your sponsor child is able to attend a Christian community center, where they will receive individualized assistance with homework and the educational tools to thrive in their academic pursuit. They enjoy supervised playtime and sports activities, as well as snacks. The center staff provides counseling and coordination of community services as needed. Our college degreed teachers work with the local schools to address any special needs of our children. Our center has modern facilities, including classrooms, a computer lab, and an extensive bilingual library. The outdoor areas include a basketball court, soccer field, play area for the younger children and a recreation area for the youth. Ministry programs are offered for all age groups.

$75 could provide snacks to every child ages 3 - 18 that comes to the mission every day for an entire week
$100 could provide for a quarterly special event in the men's ministry group
$250 helps provide two weeks of salary for our recreation director who creates a safe place for children to play each day
$500 helps provide approximately 73 hours of assistance by our social worker to the families of Bajo Tejares
$1,000 assists in providing a teacher's salary for an entire month
